The Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean Museum and Heritage Networkis a non-profit organization uniting 18 member-institutions distributed across a vast territory. Various types of institutions are among its members: museums, exhibition centres, interpretation centres, and historic sites. Network staff and members work together in an effort to stimulate exchanges, partnerships, collaboration and joint action. It also serves as a link between government levels, partners, organizations and individuals who may have a stake in the industry segment and want to serve the interest of members. The Network has a variety of cultural products to offer, all tied to the promotion of regional heritage, history and art.
The vision of the Network is essentially based on diligent joint action efforts with every member institution. The Network also structures its activities with a view to optimizing, innovating, and uniting its resources, wanting to build a promising future for Saguenay‒Lac-Saint-Jean museums.
